AMARTA II is a USAID funded program that
aims to improve the competitiveness of the value chains of three high-value
commodities: Coffee, Cocoa and horticultural crops and to increase the access
to credit of small holder farmers in these three sectors.
The project will work extensively with local government, farmers groups,
marketing companies, processors, input suppliers and other stakeholders to
increase the income of the whole sector and the proportion of income retained
by farmers.
Our project and offices are in Medan, Makassar, Bandung, and our National
Office is located in Jakarta.
We are currently seeking experienced professionals to fill the Office
Assistant based in Jakarta.
Office Assistant.S/he is responsible to keep the office clean and run errands as required
by the project staff.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. 1. To keep the office/pantry clean. Daily jobs
include: sweeping, mopping, washing of dishes, cleanliness of front and back
office areas, taking out the garbage and help clean up supplies after used;
2. 2. To clean all the AMARTA II equipment at the
office such as computer, telephone, printer, refrigerator, microwave, coffee
machine, etc.).
3. 3. To check and take out the trash can in all room
in office every day;
4. 4. To assist in logistics and office maintenance as
necessary:
- Check regularly all equipment at the office is
well maintained (bulbs, leakage, etc);
- Report if any equipment is damaged or requires
maintenance;
- Report to Administration Officer should there is
any equipment need to be repaired;
- To regularly check of paper stock in all
printers, photo copiers and fax machine.
5. 5. To assist Finance section in:
- To hand-deliver finance documents, vouchers and
cheques to the bank;
- To assist in depositing, transferring and
withdrawing money;
- To assist in doing the cash payment of office
monthly dues, e.g Telkom and Telkomsel charges.
6. 6. To ensure that consumable supply such as sugar,
tea, coffee, etc. are available and served;
7. 7. General Office Support
- Photocopy documents as requested by staff;
- Assist in sending and receiving faxes;
- Assist in filing office documents;
- Receive telephone calls and record
telephone messages if required;
- Act as messenger – delivering documents.
Requirements:
1. Senior High School or equivalent
2. Minimum 1 – 2 year experience in an equivalent position
3. Can work as part of a team or individually
4. Open, honest and responsible.
5. Punctual and reliable
6. Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience,
diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues
7. Ability to create a supportive working environment
amongst all staff
8. Must be flexible and willing to perform other duties
9. Basic understanding of verbal English an advantage.
Duration of assignment is 12 month and starting date immediately.
