Vacancy Communication Assistant

The Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia is a multi-stakeholder association dedicated to support Indonesian initiatives aiming at supporting governance reform agenda. The Partnership works closely with national and international community to initiate, advocate, and promote sustainable governance reform in Indonesia.



The Partnership brings together the Indonesian Government, Legislature, Judiciary, Civil Society, and the Corporate Sector with the support of the International Community in initiating a long-term process to improve governance in Indonesia in a durable way which expresses Indonesian ownership.

Currently we have immediate vacancy for high caliber Indonesians with high integrity to fill the following position:

Communication Assistant

Organizational Context :  
Under the guidance and direct supervision of Communications and Resource Mobilization Manager, the Communications Assistant reinforces the capacity of the Partnership to implement effective communication messages internally and externally pertaining the mandate and work of the organization through the use of appropriate information media, advocacy approaches and communication tools. The incumbent provides support for Partnership Website content and social media tools, as well as support for Partnership meetings, documentation, production of promotional materials and media relations. The incumbent should have strong interest in social, economic, political
and legal issues in Indonesia.

Summary of key functions :  
1. Support implementation of communications and resource mobilization strategy.
2. Support media relations and information and knowledge dissemination.
3. Support development of publication and promotional
materials.
4. Substantive support in organizing public events and meetings.
5. Substantive support in updating/maintaining website, and other social media tools content

Recruitment Qualifications :  
Education
Minimum Bachelor degree in communication, public relations, journalism, business administration, management, international relations, social science or other subject of relevance

Experience
Minimum 3 year of work experience in public relations, advertising, resource mobilization/fund raising or in other "messaging" environment. Administrative experience and good communications and interpersonal skills. Experience with UN or other international multilateral organizations is an advantage

Language Requirements
Fluency in English & Bahasa Indonesia
