Build Change Vacancy - Office Assistant

Build Change (www.buildchange.org) is an award winning international
non-profit social enterprise that designs earth-quake resistant houses and
trains builders, homeowners, and engineers to build them. Build Change has
been working in West Sumatra, Indonesia since January 2008, assisting
homeowners to rebuild safe houses after 2007 and 2009 earthquakes. Build
Change has the following positions open in Padang, West Sumatra.

*Office Assistant (HR and operational Assistant)*

Responsibilities



As Human Resource Assistant

   - Create and maintain national staff personnel files (softcopy and
   hardcopy
   - Distribute, collect, check, and calculate monthly timesheet from the
   staff
   - Facilitate health insurance policy implementation

 As Operations Assistant

   - Assist in the overall day  to day operations of Build change’s offices
   - Give assistance to HR and Operations Manager in day to day activities
   - Implement Build Change’s procurement system
   - Update Assets Inventory
   - Take care of the office appliances and equipment troubleshooting
   - Prepare file forms for office operations
   - Manage fleet in sub office
   - Manage travel plan for the staff (flight ticket arrangement)



Qualifications**

   - At least 3 years experience in operation management, HR, logistics and
   administration of non-profit organizations
   - Attention to detail and quality control
   - Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and development ethics
   - Proficiency with Excel, Word and other Office applications
   - Spoken and written English
