Short Term Consultant with RTI-ENVISION

SHORT TERM - VACANCY ADVERTISEMENT

and chemical analysis.

RTI is seeking for Short
Term Consultant for our ENVISION Project to Develop of the Integrated STH
MDA with Vitamin A and Health School Program Technical Guideline. The short term consultancy will be for a
30(thirty day) of working period.

Duties and
Responsibility

The consultant will serve as a resource person to develop a
technical guideline of the Integrated STH MDA with Vitamin A Distribution and
Health School Program at a provincial, district and health center level. The
technical guideline should content the role and responsibility of the health
officer at any level, the role and responsibility of other stakeholders such as
Ministry of Education officer at any level, teacher and health post cadres. A
timeline of activities should be included. The logistic system and storage at
any level, the management of Severe Adverse Effect, and recording and reporting
should be mentioned in the guideline.

The guideline will be developed with consideration of the
standards provided in the WHO guideline for the Integrated STH control; and
written in a manner and format that MoH, and international expert members can
easily understand. It will be written in
English and translated into Bahasa Indonesia after finalization.

The consultant will work closely with Sub Directorate of
Filariasis of MoH, and RTI ENVISION to
conduct consultation with integrated sectors such as Sub Ditectorate of AUSREM,
Sub Directorate of Balita, Sub Directorate of Vitamin A, Ministry of Education
and Ministry of Religion to build the commitment and ownership of having
together the Integrated STH MDA with Vitamin A and Health School Program
Technical Guideline. The consultant will facilitate input from international
experts for the improvement of the guideline.

The consultant will deliver a comprehensive guideline for
Integrated STH MDA with Vitamin A and Health School Program for Indonesia that
will be ready to printed and published by Ministry of Health.

The consultancy will be conducted with the time line as
follows:

Meeting with Subdit Filariasis and RTI ENVISION
Indonesia before drafting to gain input and material (2 days).

Attend the coordination meeting with Subdit
Filariasis and stakeholders (2 days).

-
Review Vitamin A technical guideline and School
Health program Guideline (3 days)

-
Drafting the guideline (14 days).

-
Provide the first drafting to RTI ENVISION (1
day).

-
Presentation of the draft with all stakeholders
(1 day).

Finalize the technical guideline (7 days).

Qualification required for Technical Consultant

-
Experience in developing health program national
technical guideline in Indonesia required.

-
Expert knowledge and understanding of public
health program in Indonesia required.
Experience in child health programs and/or STH preferred.

Ability to work closely and collaboratively with
the MoH Indonesia, RTI ENVISION, UN Agencies and other international agencies
required.

-
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
required.
