in 1987, RutgersWPF is aimed at improving reproductive health and ensuring
reproductive rights in developing countries. RutgersWPF has implemented
projects in Asia, Africa and Latin America. In 2005, RutgersWPFIndonesia established a field office in
Jakarta, Indonesia in order to more effectively manage and expand its current
portfolio. RutgersWPF’s Country Strategy in Indonesia focuses on improving sexuality and reproductive
health services and information for young people and decreasing gender based
violence.
RutgersWPF
Indonesia manages program of Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (ASRHR) and Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) programs in various provinces in Indonesia.
In cooperation with various local NGO partners, this program aims (1) to provide ASRHR
services for young people such as adequate information on ASRHR issues,
including enhancing capacity buildingfor teachers and parents; (2) to provide
intervention program to prevent gender based violence with local NGO partners,
and (3) to mobilize
advocacy program to influence decision makers to support SRHR education and SGBV programs
and provide adequate budget for that.RutgersWPF and partners established AliansiSatuVisi to enhance
partners capacity and strengthening SRHR network.
Due to this project
development, we are now seeking outstanding candidate talents to fill the
following positions at our Jakarta Office:
PROGRAM MANAGER COORDINATOR (Code PM Cord)
Task and Responsibilities
The PM Coordinator is a
senior position who will be responsible to the Country Representative to ensure that all
programs implementationare inline withorganization
goals, strategies, and policies. S/he will also be responsible to oversee the
daily office management and to ensure the capacity building is in place both
for staff and partner organizations.PM Coordinator will have to provide managerial and technical assistance to Program Managers.
The detail tasks of Project ManagerCoordinator are as the
following:
Core Tasks:
1. Assist and advise
Program Managers and teams to the best use of project management disciplines
and approaches within a fast paced.
2. Maintain processes
to ensure all program managers’s activities, reports, and plans are
relevant,accurate, and complete.
3. Conduct field
visits and monitor implementation of programs.
4. Support the
Program Managers in developing and presenting capacity building initiatives with the partner organizations.
5. To Track and
report on project portfolio performance, comprehensive, and prioritized view of
all projects.
6. To represent
Country Representative in various meetings related with partners, donors, and
government in and outside the country.
7. To provide
overview of the latest program implementation situation to the Country
Representative.
8. Contribute substantial content on SRHR, Gender & Youth Health Issues in the overall program in Indonesia and globally by being active
in internal and external meetings.
9. Share lessons
learned and best practices across programs, building relationships with stakeholders and enhancing relationships at
all levels.
Requirements:
1. A minimum 10 years
experiences in managing programmanagers, preferably with international NGOs, and in the areas of SRHR andGender Equity; experience in Youth Health Issues would be an
advantage.
2. Minimum University
Degree in relevant field, preferably in social science, Master degree is highly
preferred.
3. Proven skills to effectively build and in implementing
development program under PCM (Project Cycle Management) principles.
4. Proven ability to manage financial
resources according to donors policy and reporting requirements.
5. Proven track record of successfully
advocating for policy change
6. Demonstrated
capacity to cooperate with colleagues in a team, work with stakeholders
(government and donors) and with
relevant persons and institutions.
7. Very good analytical
capacity and having advanced written and communication skills in English and Indonesian
8. Very good
computer skills and understanding of information technology.
