Research Consultant

GRM International is the Managing Contractor contracted by AusAID to manage the implementation of PRSF .The Poverty Reduction Support Facility (PRSF) is designed in response to the Vice President’s request for Australia to provide support for The National Team for Accelerating Poverty Reduction (TNP2K). The goals and objectives of PRSF are aligned with TNP2K, the Presidential Instruction (Inpres) No. 15/2010, and are consist with the overarching goals of sustainable poverty alleviation within the 2008-2013 AusAID Country Strategy under the Australia Indonesia Partnership

An AusAID funded initiative, the Poverty Reduction Support Facility (PRSF), is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill in the following positions:
Research Consultant – IFLS East

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Empirical analysis of the IFLS-East and relevant secondary data (Susenas, Sakernas, IFLS) using descriptive statistics and multivariate regression techniques;
    Produce tables/graphs/regression output;
    Compile research reports;
    Research reports should reflect international standards and include/address TNP2K reviews;
    Presentation of research findings in internal TNP2K workshops.

JOB REQUIREMENT

    Demonstrated research work with intermediate knowledge on social assistance programs in Indonesia
    Master degree or PhD in Economics or Statistics
    Well develop statistical and (micro-) economics research or STATA/R/MATLAB/SAS programming skill and experience using SPSS and Ms. Office
    Ability to work in policy research environment within the government institution
    Dedication to work in teams
    Excellent writing and presentational skills are essential
    Fluency in English.
