Our client is a leading management consulting firm offering unique career opportunities. Our South East Asian Sourcing Centre (SEASC) is an internal team based in Bangkok, Thailand. Together with their Sourcing Centres in Delhi, Shanghai, Sao Paulo and in Warsaw, the SEASC assists consulting teams by analyzing and synthesizing information, conducting research, and developing knowledge on global sourcing topics.

As a Senior Research Analyst in the SEAC, you will be a member of our team of internal sourcing experts. In response to research requests from our international consultant teams, you will research a wide variety of global sourcing topics, especially those related to operations and purchasing.

You will be responsible for working with suppliers, including establishing and maintaining relationships with them. You will also provide assistance with sourcing diagnostic programs for our clients and will contribute to internal knowledge development efforts, particularly regarding our global sourcing tools.

Your other responsibilities include preparing written and visual materials analyzing and synthesizing data, coordinating with China, Eastern Europe, India and Latin America sourcing centers to ensure a unified response and maximum impact for our clients, and building and maintaining relationships with relevant industry and governmental agencies to support sourcing requests. Please note that this position is not a consulting role.

To qualify for this role, you will have at least four to six years experience in procurement and a university degree in engineering or business with an excellent academic record.
You will have a good knowledge of markets and industries in South East Asian markets with the ability to manage suppliers and interface with senior clients. You must have proven ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize information and knowledge. You will need to be fluent in English and Thai/Malay/Bahasa
