The Global

development and growth objectives by exploring and implementing green growth
plans that simultaneously target key economic and environmental objectives.
These include poverty reduction, job creation and social inclusion as well as
mitigation and adaptation to climate change, biodiversity loss and energy and
water security.
GGGI’s theory of change leads it to focus on three major
outcomes: adoption and implementation of
rigorous green growth plans that form the core of national and provincial
economic development strategies; research which builds a strong theoretical and
empirical basis for green growth, while providing concrete options and guidance
for policymakers; and public-private partnerships that strengthen incentives
for the scaling of resource-efficient investment, innovation and practice as

subnational green growth plans.

ministries and implementing agencies with GGGI’s green growth expertise, and

capacity-building and active participation of key stakeholders. In addition, you will be involved in
policy design and implementation support, public and private sector stakeholder
engagement, and international knowledge sharing.

work will be coordinated closely with the other components of the Indonesia
program (REDD+ for green growth, and regional engagement), and to ensure a
consistent approach you will coordinate on a week to week basis with the GGGI
Chief Economist in Indonesia on the approach and content of your team’s work.
You will be responsible for managing both internal GGGI resources and also for
