JAKARTA
1. Senior Project Officer – ILFAD
The ILFAD Senior Program Officer
will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of the ILFAD program
implementation especially develop new special product disaster preparedness for
MFI and working closely with the staffs of LAPENKOP and other potential banks
who become the next partners like Bank Andra including project socialization,
assessment, community mobilization and implementation of training/capacity
building activities for target MFI partners.
The Senior Program Officer will
also assist the ILFAD Program Coordinator and Program Manager in planning,
design, monitoring, and coordination with other involved staff (communications,
procurement, other program managers), and reporting.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience working in Micro Finance institution (MFI) or national bank as product development or as product development/researcher at rating institution or similar;
* Have a good understanding about ALMA (Asset Liability Management), risk management, business process, and how to manage day to day liquidity;
* Have a good understanding about CAMELS (Capital Adequacy, Asset quality, Management Quality, Earnings, Liquidity, Sensitivity to market risk);
* Detailed knowledge of bank of Indonesian and Ministry of cooperative issues, rules, and programs;
* Demonstrated expertise in program design, monitoring, evaluation, and replication; problem-solving; communication and report writing; and financial management;
* Understand English both oral and written is more advantage.
2. Project Officer – ILFAD
The ILFAD Program Officer will be
responsible for all aspects of project implementation for the Mercy Corps
Indonesia component of the ILFAD program in the target MFIs, working closely
with the staffs of LAPENKOP and other potential banks who become the next
partners like bank Andara including project socialization, assessment,
community mobilization and implementation of training/capacity building
activities for target MFI partners.
The Program Officer will also
assist the ILFAD Program Coordinator and Program Manager in planning, design,
monitoring, and coordination with other involved staff (communications,
procurement, other program managers), and reporting.
Qualifications:
* Experience of working in banks, microfinance institutions at least 2 years;
* Experience and/or interest in building relationships with regional business/financial networks, Microfinance Institutions;
* Diploma degree in business, management, economics, or finance is preferred;
* Demonstrated ability to analyze Microfinance Institutions, assess needs and training skill is required;
* Must be proficient in report writing, filling, organizational skills, and computer skills (MS Office);
* Flexibility and willingness to work in rapidly changing conditions is necessary;
3. Assessment Officer
The Assessment Officer will be responsible in
develop strong, working relationships with government, community, private
sector and other key partners at the local and provincial levels, as a foundation
for future work. She/he also will manage the pre-assessment for one or more topics through a series of interviews and focus group discussions with government and
community leaders, with two specific outputs in detailed work plan and detailed
budget.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree (S1) in social studies or a related field; Masters Degree in related topic preferred;
* Minimum of 4 years of community mobilization experience, preferably in Indonesia;
* Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, in BOTH English and Bahasa Indonesia is a must;
* Record of success in designing community interventions in a variety of the sectors IS A MUST
* Experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, particularly focus group discussions and interviews, a plus;
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint and statistics software.
