Advertisement for Temporary Field Assistant

Lutheran World Relief (LWR), a U.S. based non-profit development organization engaged in seeking lasting solutions to poverty and reducing risk, is seeking an experienced Indonesian Field Assistant for Gayo Coffee Producer Empowerment Initiative project in Bener Meriah district Aceh for three months period under consultant service contract.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist coffee groups in developing MoU and SOP for wet-mill processing and organic fertilizer
• Monitor and provide progress report in constructing wet-mill processing and organic fertilizer infrastructure
• Assist and monitor the implementation on wet-mill processing and organic fertilizer.

This position will report directly to Program Manager, however for day to day activities, the person will be supervised by Coffee Project Officer.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor degree, major in agriculture
• Experience in facilitating community meeting
• Must be dependable, highly organized and have excellent communication skills
• Be a team player with a positive "can-do" attitude
• Have his/hers motorbike for transportation
