Proposal Summary:
The
purpose of the anticipated Health Technical Assistance Project (BANTU) is to
identify, recruit, hire, administer and support qualified individuals or
organizations that will provide short or long-term technical assistance directly
to the Government of Indonesia (GoI) as needed and requested by USAID/Indonesia’s
Office of Health, in particular, to support USAID’s GHI and CDCS strategies and
priorities.
Position Summary:
MSI is seeking an IT
Specialist for the upcoming BANTU Project. The Specialist will support project staff and technical specialists’ IT
needs, establish and support the project’s IT system, and maintain a
recruitment database supporting project deliverables and use. This position will be
based full-time in Jakarta.

Responsibilities:
·
Maintain and support a recruitment database for
project deliverables.
·
Provide on-call helpdesk support (basic
troubleshooting) to staff and consultants for their IT, phones and internet.
·
Manage the inventory of all IT and communications
related hardware including cell phones, satellite phones, project computers and
network devices and ensure that inventory checked out to technical specialists
is returned before their departure.

Assess, set up and manage all IT systems and
functions for the project office.
·
Provide technical input in procuring IT services.
·
Meet regularly with project staff to report
developments, feedback and upkeep.
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or
related field.
·
Minimum three years of experience conducting network/desktop
support, database and IT services on complex international development programs
with USAID or other donor funded projects.
·
Proven track record of a "customer
service" orientation style in a stressful environment. Strong
trouble-shooting skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.
·
Computer-related certificates or degrees
preferred.
·
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesian.
