CARE International Indonesia (CII), as an international NGO, has carried out large scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency operations, transitional activities centered on agriculture and nutrition and a range of development initiatives in such areas as water and sanitation, health and micro-credit.



CARE International Indonesia  in Makassar  is currently recruiting the following position for its project:

BACKGROUND
 
CARE International Indonesia (CII), as an international NGO, has carried out large scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency operations, transitional activities centered on agriculture and nutrition and a range of development initiatives in such areas as water and sanitation, health, micro credit and environment activities. CARE International Indonesia in South Sulawesi is implementing  BCR CC Project. The title of this project is Building Coastal Resilience to Reduce Climate Change Impact in Thailand and Indonesia (BC RCC)with support The European Union.
The overall objective of this project is : Coastal populations in Indonesia and Thailand are increasingly resilient to the negative impacts of climate change.  CARE International Indonesia in South Sulawesi is currently implementing program   with support The European Union (EU) to reduce the impact of climate change through the local governments and communities.
Regarding on these above, and to complete process, CARE International Indonesia (CII) will conduct BCR CC Endline survey in  4 (four) districts Bone, Wajo, Luwu and Luwu Utara district, on period  4th -12th  March 2014 with sample 720 respondents.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
 
The consultants will have the following essential Task :
-         Enumerators must attend training prior to the data collection process in the field.
-         Ensure the survey data collection process (interview) well done and can be justified.
-         Ensure the validity of interview results.
-         Ensure all questionnaires have been collected to the Consultants and check the validity.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
1.       Have an understanding and insight in terms of  livelihood, environment and climate change.
2.      Demonstrated appropriate qualification and professional field and experience.
3.      Good knowledge of the local area and culture especially the official language(s) of the area of survey will be an advantage (Bone, Wajo, Luwu and Luwu Utara district)
                    4.      Has a minimum degree Diploma in relevant Academy or University.
                    5.      Having experience in collecting data in the field of sustainable development.
                    6.      Ability to work with teams and minimum supervision.
7.      Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
