Vacancy : Local Consultant for developing KPPS reference guide

International NGO seeks a Local Consultant.  The primary responsibilities will be to develop KPPS Reference Guide.

The position is Jakarta based.
Consultancy Contract for 1 Months duration period.
Anticipated start immediately.

Currently we are seeking Senior Program Officer to help project implementation in IFES Indonesia. 

Description

IFES is seeking a Local Consultant that will work on the development of KPPS reference guide as companion product of polling worker manual for 2014 election.
The Local Consultant will work closely with IFES International Expert in developing the reference guide.

The person is expected to perform the following functions:

a)      In close coordination with IFES International Expert, review the final new polling worker manual for the 2014 elections developed by KPU, and develop reference guides as attachments of the manual
b)      Prepare advice on the full range of technical issues relating to the development process of the polling worker manual
c)       Plan and prepare further materials as required such as storyboards for video simulations that will be used in the polling worker training.
d)      Assist any relevant duties requested as required during the valid contract period or out of the contract period upon agreement by both parties.

Required skills and experience:

·         Education: Master degree in social science, development studies, international relations, or relevant degree
·         Minimum 5 years working experience in project management, at least 2 years working in electoral environment
·         Extensive experience with providing technical assistance for Indonesia Election Commission and has good networking with the Election Commission in all level
·         Have experience in development cooperation would be an advantage
·         Have good project reporting and writing skills
·         Strong written and oral communication skills both English and Bahasa Indonesia;
·         Able to work in team and or with minimum supervision.
