Communications Officer – Education Partnership Outreach Services
Full time position, based in Jakarta with travel in Indonesia as required
URS is the managing contractor of the Education Partnership
Outreach Services (EPOS), providing project management and technical
support. The objective of EPOS is to deliver a public diplomacy and
outreach program that will ensure Australia’s profile as a partner
supporting Indonesia’s education development goals are both visible and
recognised.
We are seeking expressions of interest from Communications Officer
who can support the implementation of the Education Partnership (EP)
Public Diplomacy Strategy. The candidate will have to demonstrate
experience in organizing and managing events for different target
audiences, document management (media articles, photos, factsheets etc),
website management and content development experience. The candidate
must have excellent written and spoken English, including drafting media
and promotional materials, good interpersonal and communications
skills, demonstrated ability to work in a small team and provide sound
judgement and problem solving skills. You will have degree in
communications, public relations or journalism.
In addition, you will have the following experience:
- Experience with an international donor organization
- Experience in developing social media campaigns
- Desktop publishing experience
- Photography or video production experience
- Experience in conducting research and/or interviews
- Understanding of the education sector
