Head of ICT

The School of Government and Public Policy (SGPP) Indonesia is looking for a highly qualified individual as the Head of Information & Communication Technology (Head of ICT).

The Head of ICT will work directly with the Executive Director and will be, among others, be responsible for the following tasks and responsibilities:

A.      Management & Planning
·         Plan & manage daily operations of SGPP ICT facility management (network, website, hardware, software, telephone, etc.);
·         Plan & manage daily operations of SGPP ICT services (helpdesk, troubleshooting, security; databases, etc.) to SGPP staffs & students;
·         Plan & manage the development of SGPP ICT systems (academic, operations, library and other systems);
·         Plan & manage SGPP ICT security system (internet, software, CCTV);
·         Maintain & protect the integrity and the accuracy of ICT system and database;
·         Lead ICT-related development projects & initiatives.

B.     Budget
•         Develop and propose ICT unit annual program & budget plan;
•         Monitor and manage the ICT unit budget realization.

C.      Legal & Compliance
•         Ensure that ICT unit operations and activities comply with internal & external regulations;
•         Enforce the compliance of all SGPP employees and system user to SGPP ICT security policy & regulation.

Interested candidates must:

·         Have a minimum of a bachelor degree in Computer Science or IT;

·         Have a minimum of 3 years-experience in similar role; experience in higher education sector in Indonesia will definitely be a plus;
·         Be fluent in English (spoken and written), proficiency in other international languages will be a plus;
·         Have the capacity for initiative and autonomy in conducting her (his) tasks & responsibilities, including in leading ICT-related development projects & initiatives;
·         Be experienced in working at and with senior management level;
·         Be experienced with Microsoft product suite (Server 2008R2, 2012, Exchange, SQL, Office, etc.);
·         Be experienced with Microsoft scripting tools and languages;
·         Be experienced in managing computer networking (WAN), wireless networking, TCP/IP;
·         Be experienced in building and designing the internet topology;
·         Be able to configure Cisco Router Switch or other networking devices;
·         Be able to configure system and network administration with Windows Server and Linux platforms;
·         Be familiar with programming languages such us Shell Language, Bash Language for system administration, and also familiar with PHP, JavaScript, and HTML for web-based applications programming.
