Evaluation Reporting and Health Coordinator
The
American Red Cross (Amcross) helps vulnerable people around the world to
prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters, complex humanitarian emergencies
and life-threatening health conditions. It is a member of the International
Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and works closely
with Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI).
Currently
Amcross supports programs in Aceh, Jakarta, West and Central Java, Bali and NTB
(Lombok). Amcross works with the Indonesia Red Cross (PMI) focusing on 3 program sectors:
Disaster Management, Health, and Organizational Development.
Job Purpose
To provide
technical assistance and managerial support
and inputs to the American Red Cross supported program with the Palang Merah
Indonesia (PMI)
Role and responsibilities
1. To help program
staffs in developing standardized recording and reporting tools/formatsto
be used for monitoring and management purposes that enabling them to track
progress, achievements, challenges, and lesson learn of all ongoing projects.
2. To collate,
review and provide feedback to program staffs (managers/coordinators)
on all monthly and quarterly report, including verifying data/figures within
the reports.
3. To ensure
complete, high quality, and timely monthly report submission (Country
representative, Sub Recipient Monitoring Checklist); quarterly report
(Quarterly Project Report, ITT and PEAF indicators sheet).
4. To develop
monthly and quarterly summary of reports that reflecting status of all
projects within the Indonesia delegation both programmatically as and
financially in order to provide project information required for external and
internal use (i.e., power point presentation and program summaries paper, 2-3 page
fact sheets, etc).
5. To provide technical
support to both ARC and PMI staffs in order to strengthen
their reporting skills and also emphasizing the culture of “utilization of information for action/ evidence based planning” for program management purpose.

6. To develop and
maintain ARC project database and information dash board as well as
facilitating all project team and or relevant parties to have access to the
data whenever relevant both programmatic and financial.
7. To provide technical
support to assist ARC program staffs as well as to PMI staff at the head
quarter, targeted chapters & branches in conducting project
evaluation (midterm and end line) and including baseline data collectionat
the beginning of the project.
8. To conduct visit
to project sites on regular basis to observe the project activities and
provide feedback and recommendation for quality assurance of project activities
and at the same time providing relevant support to field staffs.
9. Work with program
team in designing project, particularly to ensure that all
project log frames, indicators, M&E plans, and tools are standardized.
10. To undertake other relevant
duties as might be required from time to time from supervisor.

Required Skills and Experience:
Education:
Bachelor or Master degree in Statistic, Public Health, Management or other relevant fields of study would be desirable.

Experience:
1. Minimum 2 years of
professional experience, preferably in the field of development for candidates
with Master Degree and 4 years for candidates with Bachelor Degree.
2. Language
Requirements: Fluency in written and spoken English is an ABSOLUTE necessity.
3. Solid experience
monitoring and producing high quality report of development projects (Example
of his/her English report should be submitted when applying on this position)
4. Strong knowledge and
experience in project management support are essential as well as ability to
draft high quality report supported with graphic and statistical summaries.
5. Experience in
monitoring, evaluation and reporting with a background and interest in the
analysis of disaster risk reduction, health and or organizational development
issues and related policy matters.
6. Excellent analytical
skill and advance computer skills required (particularly on Excel, SPSS, Arc
View GIS), knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages.
7. Experience in
handling of web based management systems would be highly desirable.
