DAI INDONESIA CLIMATE CHANGE SECTOR OPPORTUNITIES

caused by inefficient markets, governance challenges, and instability. Our
integrated development solutions turn ideas into impact by bringing
together fresh combinations of expertise and innovation across multiple
disciplines, including water and natural resources management, energy, and
climate change mitigation and adaptation. Our clients include international
development agencies, international lending institutions, private
corporations and philanthropies, and national governments.
*Background*
DAI is currently preparing for an upcoming climate change adaptation
program in Indonesia. It is anticipated that the program will work closely
in partnership with the national and local government, as well as with key
institutions responsible for disaster preparedness, climate and
meteorological information systems, and urban planning.
*Qualifications Sought*
In anticipation of this opportunity, DAI is recruiting for experts in the
following fields:
· Urban planning and local governance;
· Climate change science and policy;
· Disaster risk reduction;
· Hydrology and water resources planning;
· Geospatial Planning, Geographic information system, and database
management;
· Micro-insurance and micro-credit
In addition to the above technical sectors, project management experts with
financial, grants and operations management are also encouraged to apply.
We welcome applications for both* short- and long-term opportunities. *
*Requirements:*
Applicants should possess a degree in a relevant technical field (e.g.
urban planning, hydrology, environmental science, public policy, etc.)
accompanied by at least 5 years of professional experience. Experience
working on international donor-funded projects is highly preferable.
