Exciting opportunity for M&E Experts to contribute to AAI Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Plan

The Program
Australia Awards Indonesia (AAI) is managed by Coffey on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Australia Awards is an integral part of Australia’s development cooperation program with Indonesia and has enjoyed strong support from both governments for more than sixty years.  Australia Awards addresses two key challenges: to fill a gap in the pool of individuals with the higher-level capacity to contribute to Indonesia’s development; and the need for a strong deep relationship based on mutual understanding between Australia and Indonesia.

The Position
The MEL Plan is the guiding document for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for AAI. M&E serves a threefold purpose: enabling accountability; informing program management; and supporting learning and continuous improvement. The MEL Plan outlines the M&E requirements, strategy, activities, and measurement framework.

AAI are seeking applications for tender from qualified Evaluators to deliver the research and evaluation services outlined in the RFT for the MEL Plan. Selected Evaluators will enter into a Standing Offer arrangement to provide the services over a 42 month period. Open to all Indonesian and international applicants, Evaluators can be individuals, groups of individuals, not-for-profit organisations, or private sector firms.

The Person
Evaluators will have demonstrated experience in evaluating Australian aid and scholarships programs applied within the government departments, preferably in Indonesia. Evaluation experience in human resources development and organisational development programs is a must. The ability to use evaluation to contribute to learning and continuous improvement is essential.
