Background
Restoring Coastal Livelihood
has entered the last years, a lot of progress and the outcomes has been seen in
communities. One of the outcome is the increasing of citizen participation in
planning, implementation, and monitoring of rural development, especially in
rising women's involvement which is in line with one of the goals Coastal Livelihood in creating
civil participatory in rural
development.
Restoring Coastal Livelihood has plan to improve the quality of planning
and development of village to bring the
development of information systems. This system is indispensable as a foothold
in determining the direction, strategies, and as a monitoring of village
development. This information system or commonly called the Village Information
System also serves to improve village governance and village public services.
In
addition, the Restoring Coastal Livelihood will hold capacity building for village officers and community on the management of the
Village Information System. The village
information system is expected to provide a comprehensive information that
could be used as much as possible for all stakeholders.

Information System for 8 villages in 4 districts (Maros, Pangkep, Barru &
Takalar)

Experience
To carry out this activities / Oxfam will be selected the
best consultant based on the following criteria:
Experience in developing and
assisting Village Information System, high understanding in developing the
using of IT for community development
