NOW for the second year of the ASEAN-U.S. Science and Technology
Fellows Program for an opportunity to join a team of young science
leaders exploring opportunities to address key areas of concern to
Southeast Asia's citizens through science and policy.
This
program, supported by the United States Government, helps early career
scientists from ASEAN Member States be more engaged in policies that
drive national priorities and affect the lives of citizens in ASEAN.
Eligibility and Submission Deadline:
Up
to 16 Fellows will be chosen from across the region to be embedded in a
government ministry in their home country to advance science-based
decision-making in one of three priority areas: biodiversity, clean
energy, and fisheries and coastal management.
The
Call for Application for the second year of the Program has been
released, with a deadline for submission on January 18, 2015. The
program will begin on May 1, 2015.
