Review Current Data and Data Entry

Background

Back in August 2013, MSI-SIAP 1 conducted Institutional Development Framework (IDF) workshop towards several potential counterparts in order to draft institutional improvement plan. One main NGO partner is in need of further assistance in improving their organizational management. The assistance will be useful in continuing their integrity and accountability program, particularly after the end of MSI-SIAP 1’ program that will fall on 2015. As a result, there will be number of potential aspects that need to be improved which are fund-raising management including donor mapping and success story packaging to become more attractive to donors.

Therefore, as part of MSI-SIAP 1’s successful support, MSI-SIAP 1 hired a consultant who conducted further assessment on the partner’s fund-raising strategy and management. As a result, the assessment showed a necessity in improving the partner’s database management system of all the donors as one of important means in strengthening their fund-raising activity. In addition, the partner also need to enhance their effort to engage individual donors as a part of anti-corruption public campaign.

In this regard, MSI-SIAP 1 will engage an administrative consultant to do a review on current data and data entry processes. The result will be an organized data-base and hand-over notes which could be used in whole fund-raising activities, specifically in determining and monitoring their donors. The consultant will work under the direction of a separate IT consultant hired to implement an integrated database application.

Objective:

To assist in inputting donor data into an integrated database

 

Language Required:

Bahasa Indonesia

Deliverables:

1.       Initial Assessment on current data-base

2.       Report on data entry activities

3.       Integrated database

4.       Handover notes

Qualifications:

·         Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access and data cleaning/formatting tools.

·         Minimum Bachelor Degree from management, IT, communication, social sciences, or related disciplines.

·         Have at least 2 years of experience related to data management

·         Demonstrated track record in report writing, documentation and publication

·         Language proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia

·         Have an experience working with CSOs is preferred
