Position Title: Driver

Background

Founded in 1987 as a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, IFES has developed and implemented comprehensive, collaborative democracy solutions in more than 120 countries.

Scope of Work:

·      Operate assigned vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner

·      Provide a comfortable and effective drive for assigned passengers

·      Conduct tasks in town in support of the office, such as delivery and collections of items, procurement and paying bills

·      Keep the assigned vehicle in immaculate condition, inside and outside. Coordinate the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with management and staff to minimize service interruptions

·      Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on trip sheets, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports and other records that are requested from management

·      Be well-presented at all times when on duty

·      Assist the IFES Administrative Assistant with managing all transport related issues in general, three vehicles and two drivers

·      Assist with the reception and switchboard when required

·      Be proactive and positive

·      Any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

·         Have a valid B1 driving license;

·         Able to drive using manual or matic including 4x4 vehicle;

·         Have experience of driving for 3 years;

·         Basic English conversation is required;

·         Familiar with Jakarta areas;

·         Good interpersonal skills;

·         Proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations;
