Background
GRM
International is a leading international development management company
specialising in the provision of project design, management expertise
and technical assistance to development
projects for bilateral and multilateral funding agencies, governments
and corporations. For more than 45 years, GRM has been bringing
expertise in managing large-scale projects, and sourcing and managing
high quality experts covering all disciplinary skills
required to implement development projects.
The Roles
GRM
are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from high level education
specialists for an upcoming large education research facility based in
Indonesia. These will be full time, in-country
roles with long term contracts to be offered to the successful
applicants.
Duties in these roles will include but not limited to:
·
Leading engagement with a wide range of stakeholders at the district, provincial and national level.
·
Managing a complex program of research, pilot and analytical activities.
·
Developing and implementing a stakeholder engagement and communications strategy.
·
Monitoring progress in implementing work plans and outputs.
·
Mobilising and monitoring short-term advisers as required.
·
Overseeing the preparation of contracts with service providers and monitoring their performance.
·
Monitoring and managing risks to effective implementation.
The Requirements
To be successful in these roles you will have:
·
Post-graduate
qualifications in education, strategic management, business
administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
·
Proven
ability to manage large education projects that operate in a
multi-faceted environment including development of policy, systems and
processes.
·
Demonstrated
experience in strategically managing a large and diverse team /
organisation, including subcontracted short-term advisors and suppliers.
·
Strong communication and networking skills between donors and other key stakeholders.
·
Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to deliver results.
·
Highly
developed program management skills and a demonstrated ability to
provide technical advice, oversight and support policy implementation.
·
Extensive experience within Indonesia or similar developing country.
