Farsight
Background
Farsight is a social enterprise with a mission to
design and deliver tools for people who want to improve the world. Our team has
long experience in Indonesia and we are expanding our services to provide the
government, private sector and donors with the highest quality of strategic
consulting available internationally. We are currently preparing for a number
of donor-funded opportunities in Indonesia in several sectors. We require
experts in a number of fields, with priority given to the following:
Research team leader
Monitoring and evaluation specialist
Quantitative and qualitative researcher
Management Information Systems/IT design
Expert on social justice issues
Expert on migration (and/or Foreign Domestic Workers)
issues
Expert on conflict/dispute issues
Expert on Energy and low carbon
Expert on Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change
Adaptation/Mitigation
The roster will be used for responsibilities with
varying duration, ranging from short-term assignments to sustained engagements
lasting for periods of up to two years, with possible extension.
Requirements
To join our roster, you would have
the following characteristics:
A. Professional experience of 5+
years, with a relevant degree and evidence of consulting achievements in one of
the priority areas listed above.
B. We are looking for Indonesians
only.
C. Excellent written and verbal skills in English and
Bahasa Indonesia.
D. Innovative, “can do” mentality, adaptable and
dedicated to the issues working on.
E. Good interpersonal skills, and
ability to work in a team.
F. Willingness
to travel to different parts of Indonesia.
