Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik seeks Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) Officer, based in Waikabubak

Since 1919, we have been fighting for children’s rights, saving their lives and providing hope for brighter futures worldwide.  Save the Children’s programs in Indonesia is implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. We currently work in eleven provinces, have staff of approximately 300 local professionals, and programming in Child Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Humanitarian Response.  We are currently seeking to fill the following position:


Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) Officer – EL NINO Response
1 position, based in Waikabubak, West Sumba
Code : FSLO-EL NINO


ROLE PURPOSE:
The Program Officer will be expected to lead on sectoral assessment, project planning, coordination, and support fundraising, recruitment and procurement, usually at district level and will be responsible for directly supervising the Community Mobilizers.  The post holder will be expected to also mentor and/or build the capacity of programme staff. In addition, the Project Officer will represent SCI during community meetings and will ensure that strong M&E systems are in place and results are integrated throughout the project.
