Yayasan ALERTAsia, as part of its Global Health Securities Partner Engagement project, a Global Health Security Agenda program, is seeking applicants for Program Officer, Technical Officer, and Administrative Officer to assist one of its partners, the Surveillance Sub-directorate of the Center for Diseases Control and Prevention (Pusat Pengendalian Penyakit, P2P) of the Indonesia Ministry of Health, for its Field Epidemiology Training Program Secretariat in organization strengthening and field epidemiology workforce capacity building. The project is a multi year project with estimated completion on September 2020 through the award from the Global Health Division  of United States Center of Diseases Control and Prevention (US-CDC). 

Short Description on FETP
FETP (Field Epidemiology Training Program) established to address the shortage of skilled epidemiologist. FETP is an in-service and competency based training that require adequate and high quality field experiences. 
FETP Indonesia established in 1982 as a full year non-degree training program and become master program under the collaboration between P2P, Ministry of Health and University of Indonesia and University of Gadjah Mada. The ultimate goal of FETP is to strengthen human workforce in field epidemiology as outlined in Global Health Security Agenda and strengthen health system particularly surveillance and outbreak investigation. Currently 39 and 15 FETP students are doing their training at University of Indonesia and Gadjah Mada respectively. FETP Secretariat at P2P was established to coordinate, manage FETP activities and ensure that FETP graduates meets standard FETP competencies.
