Project Summary: 
The USAID/Indonesia Monitoring and Evaluation Support Project (MESP) is designed to improve the functioning and utility of USAID Mission Performance Monitoring, Evaluation and Project Planning and Design systems through a combination of targeted direct M&E implementation, expert technical assistance, formal training, and knowledge sharing and M&E collaboration support. Under MESP, MSI has been asked to conduct evaluation of PRESTASI 2 and PRESTASI 3 Projects. The evaluation is expected to begin in February 2017. It will last about 3 months.

Position Summary:
MSI is seeking Evaluation Support of Enumerator to serve as one of the Final Evaluation Team members and work under the leadership of the Team Leader and MSI for the upcoming PRESTASI 2 and PRESTASI 3 Projects evaluation to conduct data collection of key stakeholders and respondent needed.
The purpose of the evaluation is to gather lessons learned to inform and optimize USAID’s design and implementation of the anticipated PRESTASI 4 Program. Findings from this evaluation will also help inform mid-course improvements for PRESTASI 3.
 
Responsibilities:
·         Participate in the initial Team Briefing in Jakarta.
·       Study and understand all instruction included in the enumerators guide and evaluation protocol
·       Coordinate with the supervisor on how to carry out the survey and to report daily work done;
·       Check that material necessary to carry out the survey is sufficient and appropriate;
·       Collect data using the evaluation instrument such as interviews, phone interviews, and group discussion for relevant stakeholders and respondents.
·       Probe to clarify unclear answers;
·       Write down the answer in an ordinate and clear way, record responses accurately;
·       Double check and revise the survey at the end of the survey in order to correct mistakes and sign off on completed surveys as verification of the accuracy of the survey.
·       Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct for Enumerators
  • Other tasks, as assigned by the Team Leader or MSI.
 
 
 
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor Degree in relevant field  
  • At least 3 years’ professional experience working as survey enumerator.
  • Have strong knowledge and experience in evaluation data collection methods including education-related areas.
  • Familiarity to conduct qualitative data collection procedure such as interviews, phone interviews, and group discussion
  • Result of collected data  
  • Ability to take initiative and work within tight deadlines.
  • Technical writing skills in English is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow organization’s regulations.
 
 
Deliverables:
·         Schedule of data collection
·         Collected qualitative data/transript of key stakeholders and relevant respondent
·         Audio recording file as applicable
