Education/Experience/Language requirements

Education

    At least a first university degree (bachelor's or equivalent) in Management, Forestry, Agriculture, Environmental, Political or Social Sciences is required.


Work Experience

    At least 2 years experience working in forest and peat fire management, environmental science or sustainable natural resource management is required in combination with a first university degree.
    At least 1 year experience in supervising/managing junior staff is required
    Experience coordinating work between different sectors and stakeholders, particularly with civil society and provincial government networks
    Experience coordinating project implementation
    Experience working in an international organisation such as the UN, INGO, etc
    Experience in dealing with relevant Indonesian Government authorities an added advantage
    Experience in communications would be an asset.


Language

    Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English languages is required.

Contract level: LICA-8
Contract duration: 5 months, renewable subject to performance and funding
