Senior Finance Officer EU SHARE
1 (one) position, 18 months (Extendable) - Jakarta
 
Programme Manager, Internationalising Higher Education (IHE)
Purpose of job: 
 
The purpose of Senior Finance Officer is to support the Project Manager in the oversight and
administration of the financial systems, processes and budget of the EU-funded Support to
Higher Education in ASEAN Region Programme.

Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:

The Senior Finance Officer is responsible for the successful financial administration and
finance-related activities of the EU-funded SHARE project, such as financial planning, financial
reporting, and all other necessary tasks to ensure an efficient, secure and appropriately
controlled financial environment in accordance with both EU requirements and British Council
corporate standards, working directly with the Project Manager to ensure accurate and reliable
information is reported.

·         Partners organisations; Campus France, DAAD, ENQA, EUA and Nuffic
·         ASEAN Secretariat
·         EUD Jakarta
Internal: Project Director, EU SHARE
·         Team Leader, EU SHARE
·         British Council Finance, Local and Regional
·         British Council EU SHARE team
Other important features or requirements of the job
(e.g. travel, unsocial/evening hours, restrictions on employment etc)
Occasional travel within Indonesia, East Asia and to the UK
Regular weekend and evening work related to events
