The Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Gender Equality and Women’s
Empowerment (MAMPU Phase II) aims to address key issues affecting poor
women in accessing, controlling, participating and enjoying fulfillment
from policies and development programs in five thematic areas as follows:


1. Improving access to GOI’s social protection programs;
2. Improving conditions of employment and removing workplace
discrimination;
3. Improving conditions for women’s overseas labour migration;
4. Improving women’s health and nutritional status;
5. Reducing violence against women.

The Program will increase capacity of civil society partners; expand the
network organisations working on gender equality; better position all of
our partners to exert greater influence on key areas of government policy;
and expand reach among poor women at the grassroots level. The Program will
also harness the work of Phase I to generate policy change that leads to
widespread impact for poor women in Indonesia.

The Communication and Knowledge Management Manager will be responsible for
providing and facilitating support to program partners, the MAMPU Team, and
DFAT in the design and implementation of the communication and knowledge
management strategy for MAMPU program. This will include 3 core areas:

1. Internal Communications

- Including managing ways to share knowledge internally among MAMPU staff,
partners, DFAT and BAPPENAS as well as managing all communications
activities in MAMPU.

2. External Communications

- Managing MAMPU communication channels (digital and non-digital
channels).

- Producing high quality MAMPU communication materials (documents,
videos, etc).

- Raising MAMPU’s Profile (engage with key medias/ social media
influencers, media placements, government relations, etc).

3. Partners Engagement Function

She/he will work in collaboration with the Technical Program Advisors, PIA,
M&E Specialist, as well as Thematic Coordinators and oversee/supervise the
work of the communication and knowledge management team within MAMPU.
she/he will report directly to the Team Leader and manage a small team.
