Description
World Education (WE) is a not-for-profit organization,, operating
in Indonesia since 1991 to improve the quality of life through education by
linking economic, social, environmental, and civic development. Currently World
Education Indonesia seeks a qualified Indonesian national to support a small (1-2
person) project.
Duties/Job
Responsibilities:
Administrative
Management and Human Resources: The
HR/Admin Consultant will oversee a wide range of administrative and office
support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the project. Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:

Assist the Country Manager in addressing Administrative and HR issues
as needed.
·
Ensure that the office is kept in safe operating condition at all
times, supervise any repairs or maintenance required, and maintain written
records of all such activities.
·
Maintain an updated inventory of all World Education physical
assets.
·
Ensure that all documents related
to suppliers, service providers, and any contractor (invoices, contracts,
agreements, etc.) are properly filed.
·
Assist Country Manager in preparing proposals and periodic project
reports as needed.
·
Coordinate and provide regular communication updates with WE Boston
headquarters.
·
Make travel arrangements and bookings.
Liaison
with Government Representatives and Other National and International Agencies: Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
·
Maintain communication and good relations with other organizations
or agencies, including government and donor counterparts, on WE administration
and personnel issues.
Other
duties as assigned.
Reports
to Country Manager.
Minimum
Qualifications:
·
Proven experience as an HR/Admin assistant, staff assistant or
relevant human resources/administrative position.
·
PC literacy (MS Word/Excel in particular)
·
Basic knowledge of Indonesia labor laws
·
Excellent organizational and strong communication skills
·
Working knowledge of English
·
University Degree
