global network of WWF. WWF-ID is currently seeking for the best candidate for
the position of Community Organizer Officer.
This position will be based in Sausapor and report to Project Leader Abun. The job holder
will be responsible to provide operational support through its area of responsibilities
in sea turtle monitoring programme, predator control system, and conducting
research related to the protection of the leatherback sea turtle’s population
and habitat in Papua. S/he is also responsible to engage with local communities
in Jean Womom Coastal so that they actively participate in the conservation of
leatherback sea turtle in Papua seascape, especially in Abun.
Requirements for This Position are:

Diploma 3 (D3) or Bachelor (S1) from
Agriculture, Biology, Social Science, Economics and Oceanography
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in community
empowerment for Diploma 3 (D3) while 3 years of experience for Bachelor (S1)
