Protection*
The Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Gender Equality and Women’s
Empowerment (MAMPU Phase II) aims to address key issues affecting poor
women in accessing, controlling, participating and enjoying fulfillment
from policies and development programs in five thematic areas as follows:
1. Improving access to GOI’s social protection programs;
2. Improving conditions of employment and removing workplace
discrimination;
3. Improving conditions for women’s overseas labour migration;
4. Improving women’s health and nutritional status;
5. Reducing violence against women.
Reporting to the Senior Program Adviser (SPA), the Thematic Coordinator
(TC) – Social Protection will establish a close working relationship with a
number of assigned MAMPU CSO partners acting as the direct liaison or focal
point between the Partners, MAMPU team, MAMPU Thematic experts, technical
advisers, and strategic coordination with BAPPENAS and DFAT through the SPA.
