Chemonics International seeks Multiple Technical Leads and Project Supports Specialists for the anticipated USAID funded project

Technical and Project Support Experts for USAID – ASEAN-U.S. Partnership for Regional Oprimization within the Political-Security and Socio-Cultural Communities (PROSPECT)

Chemonics International, a leading international development consulting firm, seeks multiple technical and operations candidates for the anticipated USAID-funded ASEAN-U.S. PROSPECT project, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This expected activity will focus on improving the capacity of targeted Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) institutions, sectoral bodies, and the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC) to develop effective multi-lateral policy standards and agreements, and strengthening their ability to implement these policies. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Component Leads and Subject Matter Experts
  • ASEAN specialists
  • Political and regional governance experts
  • Gender and human rights specialists
  • Countering human trafficking specialists
  • Change management specialists
  • Conflict and disaster management specialists
  • Security and countering violent extremism (CVE) specialists

Qualifications for the above positions include the following:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, development, economics, human rights and related fields required; graduate degree preferred
  2. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; 15 years for component leads
  3. Experience working with international donor-funded projects; USAID experience strongly preferred
  4. Demonstrated experience managing and working with technical teams
  5. Strong written and oral communications skills
  6. Fluency in English and one other ASEAN language required
