PYXERA Global, an NGO based in Washington, DC, will be
managing a Global Pro Bono program in Jakarta and Sulawesi, scheduled to
take place in March 2018. PYXERA Global would like to hire a part time
consultant currently residing in Jakarta, Indonesia to assist with
program management, stakeholder relationship-building in healthcare
settings, and project and logistical support to a selected team of
corporate employees from January 2018 to April 2018. The selected
consultant’s main responsibilities will include, but may not be limited
to, the following (in both Jakarta and Sulawesi):
KEY ACTIVITIES
Project Development and Implementation:
- Participate in conference calls in English with Washington-DC based team
- Conduct in-person, relationship-building meetings with Indonesian clinical stakeholders (doctors, hospital administrators, local healers, pharmacists, community/government health workers, etc.)
- Book follow-on meetings with Indonesian clinical stakeholders to explain the PYXERA Global program and human-centered design methods (in Jakarta and Sulawesi)
- Ongoing communication with Indonesian stakeholders to ensure understanding of the program and roles and responsibilities at all stages of the program
- Support Program Manager as the on-the-ground interface between PYXERA Global, the local client, and Indonesian healthcare stakeholders
Logistics:
- Overall leadership on all program logistics over three weeks in March 2018
- Identify and visit several local accommodations and research transportation options for presentation to Client Management Team and Client Security Team
- Deliver program orientation for key Indonesian stakeholders before team arrival
- Identify possible Community Service Day projects and sites in Indonesia
- Orient new corporate participants upon arrival in Indonesia
- Act as a logistical, informational, and cultural resource for participants and troubleshoot challenges they may face
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in project management and in leading multicultural teams
- College degree in international relations, communications, project management, organizational development, NGO management, or a health-related field
- Knowledge of Human Centered Design (HCD) techniques preferred
- Experience working in, or strong knowledge of, the Indonesian healthcare system
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience working with cross cultural teams
- Ability to multi-task
- Flexible and able to work in a team as well as individually with limited supervision.
- Writing skills and ability to develop scopes of work with limited supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced presentation skills
- Knowledge of at least one specific technical area related to PYXERA Global’s programs and services (pro bono, leadership/talent development, public private partnerships, monitoring and evaluation, corporate social responsibility, etc.)
- Language proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
SALARY:
This is a part time consultant position
with an estimated timeline of 4 months at approximately 50 working days.
Pay is based on previous experience and candidates should indicate
