Data Analyst ACCCRN

Background

ACCCRN (Asia Cities Climate Change Resilience Network) is a leading regional network connecting professionals and communities across Asia to build inclusive urban climate change resilience (UCCR) that focuses on poor and vulnerable people affected by climate change. ACCCRN commit to empower people in building climate resilience, influence urban agendas, and build a regional resilient community in Asia where there is rapid urbanization and fast-growing cities that are prone to sudden shocks, as well as long-term stresses.

As a leading collaboration networking platform, currently ACCCRN.net have more than 2200 members (February, 2018). The members come from diverse background (e.g. NGOs, urban practitioners, government officials, UN-bodies, academia, etc.), these diverse backgroud open an opportunity to generate different interest between members, while also mapping stakeholder/institution that would be potential for future collaboration.

The members and general visitors access the website from over the world using many kind of devices. As a growth of mobile devices, people nowdays more access information on the web using mobile devices as well. To facilitate the members and general visitors more easily access information and establish more engagement to the platform, it’s necessary to create the ACCCRN.net website mobile friendly and easily accessible over any kind of devices. These data would be benefical to help ACCCRN to provide better service for members, also to create evidence and showcase ACCCRN benefit to potential partner.

Objectives

The objectives of hiring data analyst are:

1.       To give ACCCRN.net recommendation and business model strategy based on member’s intereset, as well as provide information of potential stakeholder for future collaboration.

Pursuant to this contract, data analyst will:

1.       Create suitable method for evaluating ACCCRN.net services (e.g. article, webinar, working group, resilience talk etc.) as well as to measure effectivity of the services.

2.       Map stakeholder (organization) that is potential for future collaboration with ACCCRN.

3.       Collect  data using the suitable method and measurement that has been created (point 1).

4.       Analyze the data generate from point 2, and give recommendation and strategy based on that.
