We currently have an opening for:
PROJECT OFFICER
S/he works closely with the Indonesia Oceans Program staff to provide technical support to TNC Indonesia Oceans Program related to GIS, remote sensing, hydro-oceanography, conservation and marine planning works. i.e. gather, digitize, process, analyze, produces, manages, and maintains GIS and remote sensing data and information (make attribute table, layout maps, geodatabase, interpolation and associated reports); run current, wave, sediment, inundation model using modelling software, etc.
The Project Officer will be based in Jakarta office with frequent travel to West Papua, Maluku, North Maluku and other TNC sites. S/he will report to the SEA Project Manager/Conservation and Marine Planning Coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, natural resources management or related field and 2 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects.
- Experience handling standard business communications.
