Sustainable Cocoa Production Program (SCPP) in Indonesia, is currently accepting applications for the position of:
SENIOR MANAGER – DATA ANALYTICS AND REPORTING
Based in Jakarta
The
Senior Manager is responsible for leading the Monitoring, Reporting,
and Measuring (MRM) team to maintain and improve data quality, analyse
data generated from
program activities, measure the program impact, and report these
finding to Swisscontact management, financiers, and stakeholders. The
Senior Manager is part of the Core Leadership Team (CLT) of the
Sustainable Cocoa Production Program (SCPP), and will provide
insight to fellow CLT members and Swisscontact management on how to
improve our ability to measure results.
Task, Authority and Responsibility
- Responsible to Maintain and Improve CocoaTrace Data Integrity and Quality
SCPP
has an unparalleled dataset of agronomic, demographic, and geo-spatial
data on cocoa farmers across Indonesia. This is maintained in our
database
application, CocoaTrace. The Senior Manager will manage a team to
maintain the data quality of CocoaTrace, continuously check and validate
the quality of the data, and to propose and implement measures to
improve the quality of data collected.
- Responsible for Performance Measurement and Reporting
A
significant deliverable product of SCPP is it performance reporting to
stakeholders and financiers (donors). These reports need to be accurate
and verifiable
with documentation and evidence, and they also need to tell a story
about what we are accomplishing in the areas of sustainable agricultural
development for economically vulnerable populations. The Senior Manager
is responsible for compiling the necessary
data/information for these periodic reports, oversee the writing of it
in business quality English, and to maintain the highest quality of
reporting outputs.
- Responsible for Data Analysis and Agronomic/Economic Analysis
SCPP’s
data sets on cocoa farmers and rural development in Indonesia need to
be turned into an asset. This position will assist SCPP to do that by
providing
insight, analysis, and improvements to our data set and means of
collecting data so that we can understand better the cocoa sector in
Indonesia.
Employee Requirements
•
High level of intelligence and proven ability to do quantitative analysis
•
Advanced education: master’s degree in economics, statistics, agronomy, or other related field at same education level;
•
Experience in statistical needed, regression analysis method is a plus
•
Strong, respectful leadership skills and experience in coordinating and managing Program teams;
•
Strong organizational, planning, management skills and experience working in inter-cultural teams and environments;
•
Strategic thinking and ability to implement strategies accordingly;
•
Excellent writing skills.
•
Demonstrated capacity and commitment to staff development;
•
Interest
in and familiarity with the most recent trends in international
development, M&E and MRM a plus. The more the candidate has
