HUMAN RESOURCE
MANAGER
Jalin seeks an Human Resource Manager for USAID’s Flagship
Maternal and Child Health Program, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Flagship
Maternal and Newborn Health (MNH/Jalin) Activity promotes the development of
locally led solutions to prevent maternal and newborn deaths and extend
essential health services to remote and impoverished areas.
The HR Manager is based in Jakarta and reports directly to the Deputy
Chief of Party. She/he is responsible for all Jakarta and regional offices
human resource policies, procedures, and activities. She/he is a member of the
Senior Management Team with specific responsibilities that include but are not
limited to:
- Manage all aspects of recruitment—advertising, reviewing and short-listing applications, scheduling and participating in interviews, checking references, gathering all necessary documents and ensuring they are accurate and complete, and preparing and presenting offers;
- Manage all aspects of staff on-boarding and orientation;
- Manage all aspects of personnel performance and professional development tasks—goal setting, regular evaluation, and end-of-year assessments;
- Coordinate all project teambuilding events;
- Manage and maintain all human resource files ensuring information security;
- Draft and update the Jalin Personnel Manual and Local Employee Compensation Plan, ensuring they are in accordance with DAI and USAID policies and regulations, and Indonesian labor law;
- Ensure that all staff adhere to DAI timekeeping and leave policies, including monitoring staff leace balances;
- Serve as the primary Point of Contact with health insurance service providers and Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (National Social Security Agency);
- Manage all immigration tasks for expat LTTA and STTA staff; and
- Any other relevant tasks as assigned by the Deputy Chief of Party.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor degree in Human
Resource Management or related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant
experience in the field of Human Resource
• Having experience in USAID and/or
DAI project is preferable
• Able to work under tight deadlines
and managing priorities
• Good interpersonal and teamwork
skills
• High standard of personal and
professional integrity
• Demonstrated ability to manage a
team, to generate work schedules and work-plans, to delegate and monitor task
completion, to establish and maintain working relationships with supervisor and
Project staff.
• High level communication skills
including fluency in English both spoken and written.
