About Rumah Energi
Rumah Energi (YRE) was established on 19 November 2012 within the framework of the Indonesia Domestic Biogas Programme (IDBP/BIRU), a program lead by HIVOS with partnership with SNV.  The establishment of YRE is part of program strategy to enhance ownership of local actors in biogas program, as an implementing partner of BIRU and trusted partner of EBTKE, Rumah Energi is currently leading the domestic biogas sector development in Indonesia. 

The organization is developed into an independent organization by finding its own identity, define its vision, mission and values..  The organization constitution explains the organization purpose which is to contribute in creating Resilience Society in Energy and Food, and  leading a  in Engaging People Towards Shared Renewable Energy Innovation and Knowledge.

To support our vision, we need a Financial Officer with  a good knowledge of accounting, book-keeping and financial  administerial skill and experience, detail oriented, and including having high integrity and professional in delivering his/her work result.

The Scope of Work
The Finance Officer would be expected to assist Finance Manager in carrying out financial administration works in compliance with Standard Operations Guideline to perform duties include : 
  1. Review monthly financial report submitted by Provincial Office and prepare general journals in the Accurate accounting system.
  2. Work closely with Database Officer and staff in provincial offices to remind them regarding open amount of Construction Partner Organization ( CPO)’s payables.
  3. Work closely with database officer to reconcile financial data with database data regarding subsidy, and After Sales Service fund.
  4. Make bank reconciliation of National Office  and Provincial Office accounts.
  5. Oversee and check accounts from Accurate accounting system especially advances, receivables, bank and payables are recorded correctly, up to date and do not have overdue outstanding balances.
  6. Prepare adjustment journal vouchers for month end closing to prepare financial report (amortization of prepaid account, depreciation of assets, reclassification).
  7. Review journal vouchers made by Finance Assistant before payment.
  8. Monitor the programme budget and provide a monthly expenditure status report to the Finance Manager;
  9. Execute secretarial works for communication to regional office concerning their financial reports.
  10. Filing all financial documents in accordance with the Standard Operating Guidelines.
  11. Support Finance Manager in external audit
  12. Perform other duties as may be assigned by Finance Manager or Programme Manager.


Requirement
We were specifically looking for candidate that fulfill these requirements:

Proven work experience in financial project with minimum 4 years experience and affinity with administrative procedures. Thus familiar in using finance and accounting tools and excel spreadsheet including assets record and management.   

We were looking for someone with Accounting background who able to operate accounting or finance software and willing to work in a diverse team, assist field team, attention to detail, and honest.
