Consultant
Objective of Consultancy
The
objective of the consultancy is to programmatically support JAPRI. The JAPRI
team currently consists of four, full-time staff in Jakarta and three sub
recipients. The consultant will report
directly to the Chief of Party. The
scope of the consultant will include, but is not limited to, the following:
·
Traveling to the project sites in Bandung and Trenggalek to meet with partners and stakeholders to monitor project activities.
·
Work in close collaboration with the
JAPRI team in drafting and revising programmatic documents submitted to USAID..
The documents include but are not limited to: regular reports (i.e. annual
report, quarterly report), study report, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (ME&L) Plan,
Scaling-Up Plan, and other reports as required. Revisions to the programmatic documents will
be
based
on feedback from USAID, and in coordination with the JAPRI team.
·
Work in close collaboration with the ME&L Specialist to gather data
from the field.
·
Work in close collaboration with PJI and MRUF to ensure
continued support from potential university partners to JAPRI program.
·
Work in close collaboration with IIEF to draft marketing and promotional
materials to ensure proper messages are conveyed to a variety of stakeholders
(i.e. local governments, education institutions, youth organizations, small
business associations, etc.)
Qualifications:
·
Indonesian nationals residing in
Greater Jakarta.
·
Bachelor degree.
·
Solid English language verbal and
written skills required.
·
5 years of experience in the
area of economic development and demonstrated understanding of entrepreneurship programs.
·
Solid understanding of the socio-economic conditions in
Indonesia and region.
·
At least five years of experience
working for donor-funded projects as project management specialist, particularly
USAID, demonstrating detail orientation, proactive attention to outcomes and
expectations.
Period of performance
This is a full
time position (40 hours per week) from June 1, 2018 – September 30, 2018. The consultant is expected to submit a biweekly report outlining
the works performed in the past two weeks and will be performed in the next two
weeks. Payment will be made monthly.
