The Zoological Society of London is an international wildlife conservation
organization with a focus on science based and pragmatic solutions. ZSL has
been active in Indonesia for about 10 years, with a particular focus on the
overlap between industrial development and biodiversity conservation. ZSL
Indonesia is based in Bogor, West Java, with existing field projects in
Jambi and South Sumatera.
The UKCCU/NICFI Project works with the Government of South Sumatra, national
and district level governments, communities and the private sector to
facilitate and support the government, private sector and local communities,
to establish and pilot the sustainable landscape management partnership
approach in the Sembilang-Dangku landscape of South Sumatra. The proposed
impact of this project is to achieve "Inclusive economic growth and
community prosperity, biodiversity conservation, forest protection and
restoration, and the ending of deforestation, peatland drainage and
wildfires that reduces land-based Greenhouse Gas emissions". We are now

SCOPE OF WORK
Under the supervision and overall guidance of the Monitoring and Evaluation
Coordinator, the consultant will perform the following tasks:
1. Team Leader (1 personnel)
a. Develop survey methodology and protocol survey.
b. Draft the questionnaire.
c. Develop strategy data collection.
d. Coordinate with relevant key person in the field
e. Supervise the survey in the field
f. Lead process of data entry and analysis
g. Lead process of report writing
2. Team Member (1 personnel)
a. Support the team leader to develop survey methodology, protocol, and
questionnaire
b. Support the team leader for coordination with key stakeholder and
person
c. Involving in data collection with the surveyor
d. Involve in data entry and analysis
e. Support the team leader for draft the report
3. Enumerator & Data Entry (3 personnels)
a) Collect necessary data and information in the field
b) Validate and verify data, and consult to the informer as necessary
c) Entry the data into agreed templated
d) Clean the data set for further process, analysis and reporting
DELIVERABLES/FINAL PRODUCTS EXPECTED
1. Team Leader:
a. Instrument Developed; The entire consultant hired should involve in
project briefing with M&E coordinator to identify methodology, protocol of
survey, creating questionnaire and field strategy.
b. Questionnaire form filled: Team leader ensure data and information
is filled in the questionnaire.
c. Data tabulated; Under supervise the team leader the rough data
available in tabulation.
d. Clear data tabulated; Team leader identify the data in tabulation is
suffice for analysis.
e. Data analyzed; Team Leader with support team member provide simple
analyzed base on M&E Coordinator guidance.
f. Final Report; Final report is the last deliverable that team leader
must provide for Kelola Sendang with support by team member. Final report
must contain comprehensive information in a good shape of data. The M&E will
supervise this process.
2. Team Member:
a) Instrument Developed; The entire consultant hired should involve
in project briefing with M&E coordinator to identify methodology, protocol
of survey, creating questionnaire and field strategy.
b) Questionnaire form filled: Team member ensure required data and
information is filled in the questionnaire by enumerator and data entry
c) Data tabulated; Team member ensure data entry process run well,
the rough data available in tabulation.
d) Clear data tabulated; Team member supervise enumerator and data
entry to filter and clean the data set before data is use for analysis.
e) Data analyzed; Team leader provide simple analyzed support by
team member.
f) Final Report; Final report is the last deliverable that Team
Leader must provide for Kelola Sendang with support by team member. Final
report must contain comprehensive information in a good shape of data. The
M&E will supervise this process.
3. Enumerator and Data Entry:
a. Instrument Developed; The entire consultant hired should involve in
project briefing with M&E coordinator to identify methodology, protocol of
survey, creating questionnaire and strategy field.
b. Questionnaire form filled: Ensure the required data and information
is filled in the questionnaire.
c. Data tabulated; Once entry process done, the rough data available in
tabulation.
d. Clear data tabulated; Enumerator and data entry must filter and
clean the data set for analysis preparation by and team leader and team
member, this activity will be guide by team member.

Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Statistic, Mathematic or relevant educational
back ground for Team Leader and Team Member
* Bachelor or Student in Statistic, Social Economic and relevant
educational background for Enumerator and Data Entry
Functional Competencies for Team Leader
* Good in excel
* Good in math and numbers
* Advance analytical skill
* Experience in various survey, particularly in climate change and
social economic
* Strong in statistic
* Good writing report in Indonesia and English
