Plan International Indonesia is presently
implementing its country strategic 4 (CS 4) covering fiscal year 2017
to 2022, where the country objective has been
defined as “to identify and facilitate
the removal of obstacles that prevent children from enjoying their rights and
participating fully in Indonesian society”. The organisation’s purpose is to “strive for a just world that
advances children’s rights and equality for girls”. This goal will be
achieved by providing technical support and implementing quality programs and
projects through partnership. An effective and efficient communications
strategy is a must for Plan Indonesia to share the outcomes of these projects
to influence different actors, specially state authorities and to position
Plan’s profile within and outside at different levels – starting from
community, sub district, district to national, regional and
international levels.
Yayasan Plan International Indonesia is
looking for dynamic staff to be based in Jakarta
for the position::
Supporter Relation Manager
This position reports to the Senior Manager for Individual Fundraising of
Plan International Indonesia. Directly supervises Donor Retention team -
Database Team. Manages relationship with third party service providers related
to donor service actvities, and in
database management
Key
Result Area Develop and implement donor retention strategy (for individual
donors) to achieve the fundraising targets. Indicators
for success: Detailed
donor retention action plan in consultation with the donor acquisition team, program
team and marketing communication team, in order to achieve the targets with
lower cost ratios and in line with Plan’s new purpose of promoting equality for
girls. Oversee the systems and processes for donor database, donor
retention and effective donor communication. Monitor revenue and expenses
according to the plan.On-time and quality monthly updates and reports.
Key Result Area (KRA) 2: Support the
dissemination of programs which use information strategically to enhance Child
Rights and becoming a Recognized Voice as potential regular giving products Indicators for success: Given
advice to the Program Department and to partners in projects and programs that
work closely with media (e.g. youth media groups, networks and platforms to
share children’s work) as to what programs /projects can be used for
fundraising. Collaborated with the
Program Department and partners in the design and implementation of public
campaigns, events and activities that include objectives of Development
Education and Advocacy to and enhance fundraising opportunities. Manage and execute the design and production
of specific fundraising materials required and requested for particular
programs and projects from both Plan Indonesia and Plan International Key
Result Area (KRA) 3: Actively
participate in the fundraising management team Indicators for success: Manage
of regular giving donor contacts. Represent Plan Indonesia internally
and externally on issues dealing with individual fundraising. Participate in the national/ regional/
global/ networks, actively contributing to the exchange of best-practices and
joint efforts to improve quality and impact of Plan’s regular giving approaches
and outcomes. Supervise and
develop donor services team as well as individual staff performance.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of related
fundraising experience; or an equivalent combination of education/experience; Demonstrated
knowledge of Excel and Word; familiarity with fundraising databases; Good
communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Indonesian language; Deep
knowledge of donor relations and stewardship; Ability to deal with difficult
supporters and respond professionally to complaints and queries. Ability to
present and explain data; Proven communications skills including experience in
writing direct mail appeals and e-appeals; Deep knowledge on individual donor
behaviour. Outgoing personality and ability to initiate and enjoy direct
communication with donors and potential donors; customer-service orientation; Highly
motivated and energetic, ability to show initiative and work independently; Outstanding
interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work
well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients
and vendors; Experience with budgeting, planning and project administration; Ability
to handle diverse, simultaneous tasks, meet deadlines, and attend to
follow-through; Experience with a youth organization and knowledge of philanthropic
community preferred; Evenings and weekends are required.
