KOMPAK Program
KOMPAK is an Australia-Indonesia
government partnership supporting the Government of Indonesia’s efforts in
reducing poverty through improvements in basic service delivery and creating
opportunities for work. KOMPAK focuses its efforts on three result areas:
- Improving access, quality and delivery of basic services in health, education and legal identity;
- Strengthening village governance, community participation in governance as well as community-led development and;
- Creation of opportunities for off-farm employment and economic development.
The Opportunity
The M&E Specialist will provide quality technical expertise in the
gathering, monitoring and analysis of Activity and KOMPAK level data and
information. This role will also provide strong mentoring and coaching support
to KOMPAK teams to increase their knowledge and understanding and of monitoring
and use of data and information for improved program implementation and
performance.
Key Duties
- Conduct Activity-level monitoring with a focus on national Activity data and information
- Support the Performance and Analytics Lead on KOMPAK-level performance
- Review, quality assure and follow up on subnational Activity and performance data
- Contribute to quality assurance processes through the review of Activity Concept Notes (ACNs) from a performance perspective using the ACN Performance Review Tool
- Support the Performance and Analytics Lead to facilitate quarterly reflection and learning processes

Key Requirements
- Demonstrated competencies and experience in data collection, management, synthesis and compilation and experience in managing data in a program Management Information System (MIS). This includes the ability to use MS Excel and other relevant programs
- Demonstrated competencies in group facilitation, the ability to provide technical support and demonstrated experience in mentoring and/or technical coaching to teams
- Demonstrated understanding of the concept and practice of developing and implementing Activities based on the Program Logic
- Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative data collection approaches and methodologies and the development and/or refinement of M&E tools
