Available position in KOMPAK: Performance and Analytics Manager

KOMPAK Program
KOMPAK is an Australia-Indonesia government partnership supporting the Government of Indonesia’s efforts in reducing poverty through improvements in basic service delivery and creating opportunities for work. KOMPAK focuses its efforts on three result areas:
  1. Improving access, quality and delivery of basic services in health, education and legal identity;
  2. Strengthening village governance, community participation in governance as well as community-led development and;
  3. Creation of opportunities for off-farm employment and economic development.
The Opportunity
The Performance and Analytics Manager will provide strong management support and technical expertise to the Lead to ensure effective management of KOMPAK monitoring and analytics work from the national to sub-national levels aligned with the Performance Management Framework (PMF).
Key Duties
  1. Coordinate Activity-level monitoring.
  1. Act as main technical focal point for Provincial M&E Officers.
  1. Facilitate the quality assurance processes to review of Activity Concept Notes (ACNs). 
  1. Support the Performance and Analytics Lead to facilitate quarterly reflection and learning processes. 
  1. Coordinate the production of key reporting deliverables, such as the 6 monthly progress report. 
  1. Under the direction and overall responsibility of the Lead, support the planning and budgeting process 
  1. Within KOMPAK, work collaboratively with:
·         The Research and Evaluations Unit to share information and data that aids research and evaluation of KOMPAK work and performance.
·         The implementation team to support improved capacity for Activities monitoring and assessment and to use this for adaptative management.
·         The Communications Unit to support them to package information from performance review and learning for communicating results to different stakeholders.
Key Requirements
  • Strong management skills demonstrated by a minimum of 8 years of experience managing teams to deliver results in a development program context.
  • Demonstrated competencies and experience in data collection, management, synthesis and compilation and experience in managing data in a program Management Information System (MIS). This includes the ability to use MS Excel and other relevant programs.
  • Demonstrated competencies in group facilitation, the ability to provide technical support and demonstrated experience in mentoring and/or technical coaching to teams.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the concept and practice of developing and implementing Activities based on the Program Logic.
  • Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative data collection approaches and methodologies and the development and/or refinement of M&E tools.
  • Ability to work well as a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter with excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
