Save the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better. We've begun to build a national organization that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia. To this end, SC Indonesia has been designated as a “Prospect Member”. As ‘Prospect Member’ Indonesia has been identified as part of the next way of new member development, which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle income countries. Indonesia has been authorized by member ballot to start fundraising locally as a first step towards building a financially sustainable local organization. Future work will also involve developing a strong local governance structure and building key partnerships with local government, the private sector, local civil society among others. Success of the pilot phase will set the Indonesia on a pathway to full membership. We are currently seeking to fill the following position:

 

Photographer for Pnemonia Content Gathering in Sumba

1 position based in Jakarta

 

Description/Background :

Fundraising and Marketing Communications Department in Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik commenced fundraising activity in 2014. Since then, the department successfully acquired more than 15.000 donors.

 

Marketing communications team held responsibility to provide high quality communications including plans, materials, and messages. The team needs to work across division to provide best communication product, here, we will work with Campaign & Advocacy to succeed country’s Pneumonia campaign. We will use the product not only to fundraise but also to raise public’s awareness of Pneumonia. Therefore we need support from professional photographer to capture human-touch stories in Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara to thrive our mission.

 

Main Objectives :

The objective of third party is to capture stories of affected families in Sumba including with staff activities related to the campaign such as immunizations etc.

 

Deliverables :

•         Capture visuals of beneficiaries affected by pneumonia

•         Capture visual of beneficiaries who survived pneumonia

•         Capture surroundings/environment of the affected family

•         Capture activities of STC staffs at Posyandu

 

Timeframe :

11-17 for Field Visit from fundraising staff (Retention and F2F Fundraiser)

17-21 for photographer activities.
