Programme Manager for the Alliance One Vision (ASV) Programme
Jakarta Based, full time, 10 months
The Programme Manager is a person who will be responsible for the management and implementation of all projects under the ASV Programme. The Programme Manager will also work together with Secretariat Officer of the alliance to support Board Members in running the alliance activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Facilitate and coordinate the development and preparation programme plan in accordance with the agreement of the Board of ASV;
2. Monitors the progress of the implementation of the programme plan;
3. Signals and communicates other challenges and problems related to the programme to the Board of ASV following the guidelines for escalations;
4. Facilitate the content for programme activities planned;
5. Represents the ASV to attend advocacy and networking events, meetings and increases the visibility of alliance with the agreement of the Board of ASV;
6. Participate in internal meetings and major organizational events;
7. Support programme in mentorship, coaching and documenting evidence of progress;
8. Manages and monitoring the programme budget with support from the Finance Manager;
9. Compiles financial and progress reports, the annual overall budget and PME information;
10. Participate in and support final reports for the programme;
11. Undertake any other reasonable duties related to programme as may be requested from the board that relevant with the Programme Manager roles.
ACCOUNTABILITY
· The Programme Manager is contracted by a host organisation, which is one of the alliance members in Indonesia, on behalf of the ASV;
· The Programme Manager has a full-time position;
· The Programme Manager will supervise Finance Manager and Secretariat Officer;
· The Programme Manager is hierarchically accountable to the Board of ASV. For daily management issues the Program Manager can consult to the Board ASV or host organization.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
· Preferably have bachelor degree from development studies, public health, social and politic, gender studies, communication, or other relevant major ;
• Experienced in working on projects / activities related to young people SRHR;
• Experienced in working with initiatives or networks (either as members or facilitators/leaders);
• Experienced in documenting material or reports;
• Good management, analytical, reporting, communication, administrative, organizational, digital technology, and English proficiency skills;
• Committed to ASV values: non-judgemental, right based approach, meaningful youth participation, zero-violence tolerance, respect towards diversity, transparency and accountability;
• Ability to accept feedback in positive manner;
• Assertive, able to work independently and in team;
• Adhere to deadline and target but also flexible when change is needed;
• Willing to travel (if needed).
