To expand our work, we are currently seeking:

Program Officer Data Policy and Governance

(Position Code: PO-DP&G)

The Officer will be responsible for management of a program regarding data policy and governance at Tifa Foundation.

Qualifications:

Educational requirement: Masters is strongly preferred. Alternatively, completion of University Degree, preferably in social science, development studies, digital technology, journalism and data issue or related field;
Excellent written, verbal, research, analytical and communication skills
Having a minimum of three years experience working on issues of data policy and digital technology in the development sector, data governance or internet governance is preferable.
Sufficient knowledge of research as well as ability to disseminate and communicate the research result
Demonstrated experience working in collaboration with government
Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize workload and meet multiple deadlines
Fluent English language skills and social media savvy are required
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Program Management and Administrative:

Develop relevant programs under this sector
Prepare budget plan and regularly report on the budget
Monitoring and evaluation of projects
Draft reports for Tifa Foundation’s Boards and donors
Organize and maintain records as required
Advocacy:

Conduct regular assessment on related data of Covid-19 situation in Indonesia.
Liaising with relevant policy makers, government officials, donors, partners, other CSOs and activists relevant to this issue
Communication:

The Officer will need to draft external communications materials including press releases, blogs and briefings
Support the communication strategy of Tifa’s at large by creating content for website, newsletters and social media
This position is a full-time position, with 1 (one) year fixed term initial contract.  The extension will be subject to job performance and the availability of the budget.
