Activity Purposes:

The purpose of this activity of “Participatory Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment Training” is to increase the capacity of disaster preparedness on each of the 3 villages in identifying risk, vulnerability and capacity of all element in the village. These data will be used to have an overview and idea of the state of the village regarding DRR, and helping in developing DRR activities.

 

Output activity:

The expected output from this activity are:

·       90 Participants from the Disaster Preparedness Team of Baiya, Petobo, and Balaroa Village are able to participate in the training

·       All the participants of increased knowledge in PVCA and will be able to implement it on their own village

·       Responsibilities          :

·       Facilitate the Training with local community and government of the 3 Village (Balaroa, Petobo and Baiya).

·       Provide certification for participant who passed the training (optional/if needed)

·       Able to facilitate field training (PVCA) when needed.

·       Producing progress/activity report.

 

Desired Qualification and Experience:         

·       Advanced knowledge regarding DRR

·       Familiar with Sigi District local context especially in Mpanau, Lolu and Jono Oge Village

·       Have 1 or more certificate of PVCA related training, or a member of Pool of Facilitator (Has participate and passed the ToT)

·       Must have eligibility to grant training certificate for the participant. (optional)

·       Has experience work with community and local government.

·       Good communication skills and able to facilitate workshop independently.

·       The vacancy can be entered as individual or a small team.
