Nutrition International (NI) has been implementing high-impact, high-coverage
health, and nutrition initiatives for vulnerable communities in Indonesia since
2006. NI’s priority objectives in Indonesia include the survival and health of
children, adolescent girls, pregnant and lactating women as well as women of
reproductive age, primarily through improved coverage and use of key
micronutrients, such as vitamin A, zinc, iron and folic acid as well as wheat
flour fortification and iodized salt.
The Better Investment for Stunting Alleviation
(BISA) project is an integrated nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive
project designed and implemented jointly by Save the Children and Nutrition
International (BISA team) to assist the Government of Indonesia (GoI) to realize
the goal of the National Strategy to Accelerate Stunting Prevention
(2018-2024). BISA targets two Provinces – West Java (WJ) and East Nusa Tenggara
(ENT).
Behavior change intervention (BCI) is an
important component in the BISA project to support program success by improving
the behaviors of health workers and beneficiaries (pregnant women, caregivers,
and adolescent girls), including teachers and program managers at district
levels. In view of the above, Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC),
Strategy, and SBC materials have been developed. Now, NI is planning to print
these SBCC materails viz. flipchart, booklets, monitoring cards, posters, and stickers.
These SBC materials will be supplied in schools, puskesmas, and District Health
Offices in the target locations of the BISA project.
NI
invites quotations for packaging & distribution of the SBC materials for
West Java (WJ) and East Nusa Tenggara (ENT) Provinces.
